Grateful for another year filled with awesome travelsss and experiences. 8 provinces, 4 countries: check!! my bucket list never ends. 🙂
For the first half of 2017, I focused on local destinations to keep my Project PH81 dream going. I hit the southern part of the country – Mindanao, with some friends. We did city tours, waterfalling, island hopping, zip line and white water rafting in Iligan > Camiguin and Cagayan de Oro. It was indeed jampacked with adventures and lots of nature loving! 😉
As Summer kicked in, I went on traverse hiking at Mt. Ulap in Itogon, Benguet located in northern Luzon. During Holy Week, I had some R&R in our hometown of Albay in southern Luzon, island hopping in Bacacay and Casa Mamita Farm Resort in Oas.
Of course summer is not complete without a family outing in a pool resort near the metro – Villa Alfredo’s in San Fernando, Pampanga. I also immersed myself in the stunning landscape and mountain view in Dingalan, Aurora known as the Batanes of the East. ❤
Meanwhile, in the second half of 2017 I was booked with international destinations. Lucky me, I was able to schedule these timely for the looong weekends in the country! 🙂 I finally accomplished the Indochina adventure: Vietnam > Cambodia > Thailand! Here are some highlights: Saigon Cathedral in Ho Chi Minh, Angkor Wat Temple Complex in Siem Reap and Grand Palace in Bangkok. 😉
To cap off the year, I spent autumn in Korea! This is my third attempt of going there and it finally pushed through this time. 🙂 The weather was VERYYY COLD but the beautiful sceneries, delicious food and nice locals made the trip so fun and memorable. Not too mention there were also lots of eyecandies too! (oppas everywhere) 😀
Sharing my photos below at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Nami Island.
