YES to Adventures

Life is meant to be a daring adventure as Hellen Keller said. I’m glad and proud that I am able to do a lot of adventures in the different places I travel to. It makes the trip/experience even more exciting and memorable.

In the Philippines, one will never run out of outdoor adventures to choose from – whether on land, sea or air. 😉

Here’s a glimpse on some of the scenic hikes I had in Luzon – Benguet and Banaue provinces. It’s not easy to reach these spots for these require physical and mental strength. The long hours of walking, hunger and thirst are worth it when you reach the destination. Immerse yourself in the stunning views! ❤ (Soon: DIY Banaue, DIY Benguet posts)

In the recent years of my travels, waterfalls has become a favorite. There’s a surreal feeling to stand before a mighty cascade of waters and be showered with cold mist. So refreshing! Since most waterfalls are hidden in lush forests, expect to ride a habal-habal (motorcycle), some hours of trekking and high staircases to take. I found these gems in Lanao del Norte, Laguna and Camiguin. 😉 (Soon: DIY Region 10, DIY Laguna posts)

Of course, when it comes to water adventures – there’s canyoneering, swimming with whale sharks, river trekking and white water rafting. When visiting Cebu, Rizal and Cagayan de Oro these are must tries! (Soon: DIY Cebu, DIY Rizal, DIY Cagayan de Oro posts)

Our country is blessed with numerous island hopping destinations to choose from. If you’re looking for white, black, grey, pebble, pink beaches – we got them all. Travel and Leisure even named 3 of the best islands in the world from Philippines – Boracay, Palawan & Cebu! ❤ (Soon: DIY Palawan, DIY Cebu, DIY Boracay posts)

There’s a wide array of adventures out there waiting to be experienced. As the cliche goes, You Only Live Once so dare and have FUN! You too can try these in Surigao del Sur, Sagada, Boracay, Albay, Cebu, Siquijor and Baler! 😀

Whoa, I have accomplished this much adventure so far (more to come!). Truly, these activities are no joke to try. Exercise caution and keep safety a priority at all times. If the weather is bad, if you’re not in good condition or there’s no trained guide around etc, don’t push it. It’s better to be safe than sorry and so as not to spoil the whole trip/vacation if something untoward happens. Above all, always PRAY for protection and strength. 😉

That’s all for now folks, I gotta do more digging of pictures to share in my next stories. Here’s my 2 cents on adventures: You’ll never know that you can until you try. 🙂
