Quick facts about PH
The Republic of the Philippines is part of Southeast Asia located in the western Pacific Ocean. It is composed of 7,641 islands spanning from the 3 mainlands: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The capital city is Manila and there are 18 regions, 81 provinces spread across the country.
It has a tropical climate with three seasons all year round: Dry (March to May), Rainy (June to November) and Cool Dry (December to February). Filipino and English are the official languages spoken aside from the various regional dialects used by locals. Tourists will surely feel the warmth and top notch hospitality that Filipinos offer to make their visit truly fun and memorable. 😉
From north to south, one will never run out of beautiful towns, pristine islands, scenic landscapes, heritage sites, delicious food and exciting festivities to choose from.
Here’s a peek at some of the popular natural wonders of the Philippines.
The remnants of a 16th century Franciscan church from the Mayon volcano eruption in 1814, the mighty monkey eating eagle and a mango flavored pizza are just some of the amazing things that can only be found in the country too.
I’m truly grateful to experience these places and capture amazing photos to seize the moments. (All photos are mine except the map haha) I do have a long list of travel stories to share here so stay tuned for more posts to come. For sure you will agree that indeed #itsmorefuninthephilippines 🙂
